How we work
Good pruning removes what is needed, and no more. Cuts that are too severe weaken the tree and encourage disease. During the visit, we assess the condition of the tree, the risks around it (roof, cables, neighbours) and the safest method.
The right time
Most pruning is done outside the growing season, from late autumn to late winter. Dead or dangerous wood can be removed at any time of year.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need permission to fell a tree?
In the Brussels-Capital Region, felling a tall-stemmed tree in principle requires an urban planning permit. We will tell you during the visit whether an application is needed.
Can you work in a small town garden?
Yes. Sectional felling allows a tree to be taken down piece by piece without damaging what is around it.
What happens to the wood?
It is taken away. If you would like to keep logs for the fireplace, let us know before the work starts.
