How we work
We first locate the exact boundary with you and agree on what the fence is for: privacy, security, animals. A dog fence does not have the same requirements as a decorative one. We then choose the height, the material and the type of anchoring.
The right time
Fencing can be installed all year round, except when the ground is frozen. If the fence is to be paired with a hedge or climbing plants, autumn lets us plant straight afterwards.
Frequently asked questions
Who pays for a boundary fence?
A fence built on the boundary line is in principle shared, and so are its costs, with your neighbour. It is best to agree with them before the work starts.
How high should a dog enclosure be?
It depends on the size and temperament of the dog. We discuss it during the visit to choose a height and anchoring that stop it jumping over or digging under.
Can you combine a fence and a hedge?
Yes. A discreet fence backed by a hedge gives you security straight away and the privacy of a hedge once it has grown.
